The duration of the course is 4 weeks, from Tuesdays to Fridays, 9 am to 3 pm with half an hour lunch break.

Assessments

Assessment tasks will include professional discussions with your trainer and demonstration of practical skills.

You must complete 110 hours of voluntary work to develop skills and expertise in pet grooming. Serving in K9 Chic’s pet grooming shop at 1/152 Shore Street West, Cleveland QLD 4163 can provide you with valuable experience. This type of voluntary activity is known as “work-based training.”

Entry Requirements:

Students must be available to visit the training facility at a single location for a period of practical study in an operational pet grooming salon setting.

Students must also have a minimum language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) level that suggests they have a strong chance of successfully completing the course. You can tell us whether you feel you have these skills, or we can assess your LLN proficiency for you. This enables us to assist you by giving the right levels of support to help you reach your objective.
